What Is a Custom Domain?
A custom domain is a web address you own and control for your store.
Instead of using a default link like:
yourname.catlog.shop
You can now use something like:
yourname.shopyourname.comyourname.com.ngyourname.gh
It’s cleaner, easier to remember, and instantly improves how your store looks to customers.

Option 1: Buy a New Domain on Catlog
If you don’t already own a domain, you can buy one in a few steps.
On web
Open your Catlog dashboard
Go to Store Settings → Custom Domains
Click Buy a New Domain
Enter the domain name you want (e.g.
yourbrand.com)If it’s available, click Buy Now
On mobile
Open the Catlog app
Open the side navigation
Go to Store Settings → Store Configurations → Custom Domains
Tap Buy a New Domain
Enter your domain name and tap Buy Now
Once purchased, Catlog automatically connects the domain to your store. No extra setup needed.
If the domain isn’t available, you’ll see suggested alternatives you can choose from.
Option 2: Connect a Domain You Already Own
If you already bought a domain elsewhere, you can connect it to Catlog easily.
On web
Go to Store Settings → Custom Domains
Click Connect Existing Domain
Enter your domain name (e.g.
mybrand.com)Follow the DNS instructions provided
Click Verify
On mobile
Open the side navigation
Go to Store Settings → Store Configurations → Custom Domains
Tap Connect Existing Domain
Enter your domain name
Follow the DNS instructions and tap Verify
Once verified, your domain goes live on your Catlog store.
