Introducing Checkout Links

Introducing Checkout Links on Catlog

You can now create Checkout Links on Catlog to send customers straight to a ready-made cart so they can complete their order faster.

Checkout Links let you build the cart for your customer first, then send it as a link. Customers don’t have to search for products or start an order from scratch — they simply review, update their details, and pay.

What is a Checkout Link?

A Checkout Link is a unique URL you generate from your Catlog dashboard or app.

You choose the products, optionally pre-fill your customer’s details (like their name and phone number), and turn that into a link you can share directly with them.

When your customer opens the link, they see a cart with the items you selected, then move straight into checkout and payment.

Why Checkout Links Matter

Checkout Links help you close sales with less back-and-forth.

  • Reduce friction by sending a cart that’s already built

  • Help customers buy faster from chats and DMs

  • Recover people who almost checked out but never finished

How to Create a Checkout Link

  1. Open orders on your Catlog app.

  2. Click on the three dots icon.

  3. Choose Checkout links.

  4. Select or adjust the items in the cart.

  5. (Optional) Pre-fill customer details like name and phone number.

  6. Create the link, copy it, and share it through your preferred channel.

When your customer opens the link, they see a ready-made cart and can move straight to entering delivery details and paying.

Sharing Your Checkout Links

You can share Checkout Links anywhere:

  • WhatsApp

  • Instagram (bio, stories, DMs)

  • Telegram

  • Twitter

  • Direct messages and groups

What Customers See

When a customer opens your Checkout Link, they land on a cart page with:

  • Product names

  • Prices and quantities

  • Cart subtotal

From there, they can:

  • Edit product quantities

  • Add more products to their cart

  • Update personal and delivery information

  • Proceed to checkout and pay as normal

It's exactly like the normal checkout flow, but with the cart already prepared for them.

When to Use Checkout Links

Use Checkout Links when you want to:

  • Turn chat conversations into quick orders

  • Help customers who already know what they want

  • Recover abandoned carts with a simple link

Checkout Links are especially useful if most of your sales happen in DMs and chat, or when customers don’t want to navigate a full store.

Summary

Checkout Links help you remove extra steps, reduce drop-offs, and give customers a faster way to complete the orders they already want to place.

If your customers are already telling you what they want in chats, Checkout Links give you the right tool to turn those messages into finished orders.
