What Are Product Highlights?

Product Highlights are short video showcases on your storefront, styled like Instagram Highlights. They appear as circular video thumbnails at the top of your store, and customers can tap on them to watch the videos.

But unlike passive social media videos, Highlights on Catlog are shoppable. Each video has products linked to it, and while customers watch, they can tap a Buy button directly below the video to add that item to their cart and place an order — without leaving the video.

How Product Highlights Work

Setting up a Highlight is simple:

  1. Upload a video — You can upload videos manually, pull them from your connected Instagram page, or use videos already attached to your existing Catlog products.

  2. Link products to the video — Tag the products that appear in or are related to the video. These are the items that will show up with Buy buttons while the video plays.

  3. Publish the Highlight — It appears on your storefront immediately, ready for customers to watch and shop.

Customers visiting your store see your Highlights displayed prominently. They tap one, watch the video, see the linked products, and can purchase right there without any friction.
