When customers visit your store, they should be able to find what they’re looking for quickly. Product Categories help you organize your products into clear sections, making it easier for customers to browse your store and discover more of what you sell.
What Are Product Categories?
Product Categories let you group similar products together on your storefront. Instead of just displaying all your products in one long list, you can create categories to organize your products in a way that makes sense for your business.
Catlog allows you to create unlimited product categories, helping you keep your storefront organized as your product catalog grows.
How to Create Product Categories
Step 1: Log in to your Catlog account.
Step 2: On the dashboard, tap Products at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Select the Categories tab at the top of the page.
Step 4: Tap Create Category.
Step 5: Enter your category name.
Step 6: Tap Save.
Your category is now ready for products to be added.
How to Add Products to a Category
You can add products to a category in two ways:
Add a New Product
If the product is not already on your storefront:
Step 1: Open the category.
Step 2: Tap Add Products.
Step 3: Upload your product images and complete the product details.
Step 4: Save the product.
Add an Existing Product
If the product is already on your storefront:
Step 1: Go to Products and select the product.
Step 2: Tap Edit Product.
Step 3: Tap Select Product Category.
Step 4: Choose the category you want to assign the product to.
Step 5: Tap Continue, then Save Update.
The product will now appear in the selected category on your storefront.
